Cruiser Dorks

Got together with some other cruiser nerds in the area and went on a little adventure to Oak Grove and Savanic Mine out on the AZ Strip

It was! The new MTr's (ran them down to 12) did well as well as the first time I ran it with a front locker. That combo in the conditions really helped.

Just installed Toyo Open Trail AT IIs, 285/75/16 (33"). Replaced some LTX baldies, gained 2" overall. Looking forward to giving them a trail workout this weekend.

I made that same mistake when I did the 7 pin mod. I was all excited to test out my Aussie locker and I left the cd unlocked all weekend!

Almost finished with my bumper and tire carrier. Thinking of selling a couple.

I installed the PFran LED's on reverse lights tonight, with my sons help. He's anxious to help work on the cruiser.

One light replaced, wow, what a difference.

Both replaced, wow, looks good, and this is at dusk!

Got the 80 SMOGged. She passed easily.

Then continued my Duplicolor graphite wheel paint project (spare wheel done, almost done with 2nd wheel) on the 80. I used my non-USA Toyota steel split rim (one of the spares for my 60) to mask the rotors et al. when I painted one of the rear hubs (black).

Then I went for a road bike ride (Sworks Roubaix): I saw 2 Unimogs (2 miles apart), a Pinzgauer, 2 split-window VW buses, and a Studebaker Hawk, but only single 80 the whole time (outside of my driveway). Weird.
