No gun rack in rear window and no Texas flag or Longhorns stickers ... likely not a native Texan.

I wish. Than I wouldn't have to worry about most of this salt around here.
Dude driving down the street or even worse behind the plow is killing me they throw salt at the drop off a hat around here.

Same here. Oh threat of snow? SALT SALT SALT SALT SALT!
Still not as bad as when I lived in upstate NY though, since winter there seems to be more than just a season.

1. What's the salt for? j/k
2. What are seasons?
3. We consider rain "Showers" at only .07" precipitation here so SoCal.

On Saturday the 23rd, my son hopped in the Studebaker to run for parts for his truck. By the time he got back, the salt trucks had laid down a serious layer of salt everywhere! It was sunny and not a cloud in the sky. So he had to drive home through that crap.

Late Sunday night we got about 1/2" of snow that melted by 4:00pm Monday afternoon. Now we got another dusting of snow this morning.

They throw so much salt at the roads here, it eats our driveway due to the stuff that drips off the cars.

Then they complain about how much it costs for winter prep. I wish they wouldn't salt so much, but I guess that's because I know how to drive in it.

I drive this day to day coast to coast and we have to put effort into fighting off the road salt is all.

What are those parallel blue lines for, on 1/1?
Is that the traffic report? Shouldn't that be red though?
I think it's a New Year tradition out there. Everyone takes a shower at the same time and drops the water reserves significantly. That's just, like, my opinion though man.

Started the 80 multiple times in this weather with no problems while out and about for Christmas visits. The 24v starter on the diesel might be worth keeping in place, but I still like keeping it parked in the heated garage at night.

The other weather reports I've seen posted make me depressed.
