Picked up a set of Metal Tech sliders from the local freight yard and installed them by myself in less than an hour and also replaced the charcoal canister with the AC Delco PN 215-75.

You know the canister is done for when there is so much pressure in the tank, you are not able to put gas is.

Spent 6 minutes adjusting my LSPV down .25 in. after 3 years of not doing it. My front brakes thank the forum. Have to relearn how to stop since now I actually can.

drove it back from the beach...boooo

at least the whole trip was uneventful from a vehicle point of view, the '96 got us there and back just as it always does...yeah

Went over to assist in the assembly of my sliders, though I did about .010% of the work. My cousin is doing great work. Thankful to have someone with the tools and knowledge.

Sliders are looking good, how much does it weigh?

If you like Garner, you would love Inks Lake, that is next month with my scouts

Been to Garner many times growing up. The weekend dances were always a great place to meet people and get your heart broken from the pretty girl across the way. Good times and great hiking. We used to find fossils out there of shells and plants. Pretty cool.

I finally got my StrongArm struts installed for the hood. $35 for the pair shipped off of eBay. Why didn't I do this sooner? I had a hard time parting with my long time hood prop...the 1/2" galvanized pipe...I call him Pipey. Farewell old friend.

Pulled my power steering box out for a rebuild, and removed my bullbar for a fresh paint job :) certainly not looking forward to slaving in the workshop while I rebuild my power steering box
