Changed front and rear diff fluid last weekend. As easy and stinky as advertised. Plugs broke loose no problem, rear was too loose. One round metal piece found on front plug magnet. Picked up new hex plugs from Camelback Toyota along with new crush washers (will get to the xfer case later).

How much is a cup of coffee there?

In restaurants it varies from AOA200 (US$1.20) to AOA500 (US$3.01) for a single shot of expresso. A milky latte type coffee costs AOA500-1000 (US$3.01-US$6.02). Perhaps more in very upmarket restaurants.

A pack of 10 Nespresso capsules in my local supermarket is AOA3,450 (US$20.79).

I don't think any Angolan restaurants use Nespresso machines.

Angola used to be one of the world's largest coffee producers but war put an end to that. The coffee business is restarting and Angolan coffee is nice and cheap. Imported Nespresso is pricey! Not sure if much, if any coffee, is exported yet as bureaucracy prevents the country from exporting anything other than oil and diamonds.

Beer is cheaper than water here!

Did brakes on my brothers 04 Sequoia with 275k on it yesterday. What should’ve taken 30 minutes took about two hours. IH8RUST

Got him fixed up with new tires on Wednesday. Next step is to decide how long he plans on keeping this thing. Needs new rubber bushings everywhere.

I also polished his headlights (no pic). Makes a huge difference and took about 10 minutes!

Installed one of Joey’s stickers on my rolling toolbox. It looked level when I stuck it on...

This weekend is reserved for the 80s. Need to rewrite my rear spot lights on the 93. And put in the USB extension for the radio.

And how many beers in were you...........

Got the wrap installed and took it to the stealership to have the hose next to the PHH replaced. Its a busy time of year for me and I didn't have the time to figure that repair out for myself and need this truck up and running.

I know this won't be for everyone ... so I came prepared:

New wrap, ran out of time before I needed to hit the repair window at the dealer, so still needs mirrors and door handles done.

It's certainly unique! Kudos to you man. No flaming from me on this. I'd never do it but it certainly doesn't look any more sh!tty than mine...

No MiG will ever see you coming.
Too bad the 0 was made by Mitsubishi, screw it... same country.

Have the cruiser torn apart. Taking advantage of the good weather & my new daily driver to get much needed work done. Im dating a girl and she took this picture of me. Have to say she makes it hard to get stuff done, but thats not necessarily a bad thing :D She loves the cruiser, and loves that I know how to work on it. Hoping to get it back together soon and take her to the Redwoods.
Here's the list (so far.....)
  • Servicing fuel injectors
  • PHH
  • new valve cover gasket
  • New fuel filter
  • Clean out nasty intake manifolds & TB
  • New plugs & wires
  • Rebuild distributor
  • lots of new hoses, gaskets
  • remove PAIR and EGR junk
