I replaced the gasket and o ring in a couple of Scepter jerry cans.

And washed the undercarriage on two of three 80s so they can dry thoroughly prior to the Fluid Film action tomorrow.

I also picked up some aerosol cans of Fluid Film from work, Lowe’s. It’s $8.98 a can in stores. While supplies last. It appears it is going to be discontinued from my store.

Also picked up a couple of boxes of Ziploc gallon bags and a couple more Rubbermaid containers. Going to start organizing all of my new spare parts and inventorying them.

And trying to find some new wheels for my 93. Would prefer some steelies but can’t find any. Need to do some research. Want to move my 33s to the 92 since she is due for tires (36k miles but 8+ years old and dry rotting). Then get new 33s or maybe 35s for the 93...

Got some vinyl on the hood, lubed up the steering wheel as the squeak was getting to me, and finished the cb with PA speaker install.

I hate to, yet, I beg to differ that you bought a HALON extinguisher. Did I read it incorrectly, did you mistype, or did you mistype?

Nt sure what your saying If you dont know what Sfecraft is here it goes .Safecraft's Model PB removable fire extinguisher system was designed specifically for vehicle use. It has a unique machined billet aluminum head that looks great with any of the cylinders listed below. The Model PB must use the Safecraft billet bracket for mounting. Whether your vehicle is a monster truck or a two seat sports car, these removable systems work and look great. All Model PB systems are 2 ½ pound Halon 1211.

Quick couple days to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead area. The CampTeq 80 got the full search by Homeland Security and guns are not allowed at the dam:rolleyes:

Some how on the first night I had an intruder, I taped the hole in the lid prior to the pic. I emptied out the 80 in search and I have a LOT of stuff in my 80 with zero success.:bang:

You might want to check--you may have entered a groundhog day vortex.

And trying to find some new wheels for my 93. Would prefer some steelies but can’t find any. Need to do some research. Want to move my 33s to the 92 since she is due for tires (36k miles but 8+ years old and dry rotting). Then get new 33s or maybe 35s for the 93...
Has anybody looked into 5th gen SR5 4Runner spare tire rims for steelies. Its a 17" that has the same offset as the stock 4Runner rim. May be able to pick them from junk yards

Finished welding the 4x4 Labs rear together, now just need a decent weather window to paint it.

Can't wait to get this done, it feels very wrong riding around without a back bumper. Like everybody is tailgating you...:eek:

They work. Any 6 bolt Toyota wheel will work for the most part. The only issue may be the center bore. The problem is that I live in Iowa and there aren't a lot of Toyota trucks in the junkyards. There is a set of aluminum Tundra rims that are all curb rashed and they want $200 for the set.

Did you pick the reddish color because you went to Washington State? Now that you have the center of your hood vinyl'd you only have to finish the rest of it to get rid of that awful red!

It was karma for all of the bad things I’ve done in my life! Oh, and it isn't red, I’m not sure what color it is I just know it’s the worst color on an 80 but your green is a close second!

FIFY!
