A) Stray cat in the complex skulking aroundA) what are you looking at while filling the coolant?
B) Definitely looks like something toasty happened in the past on that FL...
I had several stories going through my mind regarding that look over...A) Stray cat in the complex skulking around
B) Yeah I have no idea tbh; and the PO didn’t know either…and he had it for 7 years. He didn’t even know the alternator was out either.
LOL. Initially I was just paying attention to my funnel til I saw the cat in my peripheral vision.I had several stories going through my mind regarding that look over...
What year is your truck? Have you looked into the @CruiserTrash FLRK?

I put the FJ62 version in my 62 and I am very pleased with it.
It is an investment but well worth it.
Got a solution for thatLOL. Initially I was just paying attention to my funnel til I saw the cat in my peripheral vision.
My truck is an ‘84, and I have thought about getting a kit from CT for a while, but I have a snorkel installed right where his kit is supposed to go, so for now I’m just keeping the stock FL. I may upgrade at a later time if I can perhaps bolt it somewhere else.

A solution eh?Got a solution for that
But living with these trucks is a process with a lot of different paths over a long time. Choose your own adventure!
I’m going to be changing the 62 FLRK bracket so that it can hold either the 60 fuse panel or the 62 fuse panel. For folks with a snorkel or non-US air cleaner in a 60, both of which interfere with the 60 FLRK location, the 62 FLRK location works great. Aside from the different bracket, the cables need to be lengthened, but it’s not a big deal. It will be an optional variant on the 60 FLRK product page.A solution eh?
What’s this for?Made a mount for the D-Switch, though I'm no sure I'm 100% sold on putting it in this spot. I really wish I had a Plasma Cutter. Next I need to figure out where I'm going to mount the switch panel in my truck, I'm thinking of trying to integrate it into my fuse cover with a QD for when I need to get to my fuses. I’ve kept your kit in mind in the event I do some upgrades to my setup; at the moment I just want my truck running “as is” before I get too wild. Nonetheless, I like to hear that you’re making some adjustments.I’m going to be changing the 62 FLRK bracket so that it can hold either the 60 fuse panel or the 62 fuse panel. Again, no pressure. Just an option for you or anyone else with a modified engine bay that should work for the majority of people.
