This is a really big deal for me, I've been putting this off for 3 years now

Colorado to Washington in two days isn’t bad at all.

I just shipped as freight. I guess I was exaggerating, it took 3 business days.

Oil gauge was reading low pressure, after a panic attack and long conversation with the Nomad did a quick test with a donor guage and it was OK.
Swapped the oil guage with the donner one and will insert a T connector and add a digital oil sender / gauge as backup to get dual reading from 2 sources.

One of my, less than two years old, Advics wheel cylinders failed tonight right as I was pulling into my driveway. This is going to be fun:bang:. It was not old enough to have a right to fail, the last ones were as old as me when I replaced them, and they were fine. I'll probably get a cheap Duralast from Autozone and slam it in to get the truck stopping again, then get a spare of some sort and carry it around with me in case the other side fails as I replaced then as a set. I expect better of Advics.
Advics wheel cylinder was not at fault! The pin that holds the shoes in place wore a hole in the backing plate and allowed the shoes to shift, which destroyed the liner of one of the shoes and allowed the rod in the wheel cylinder to get pushed too far out.

Got the BMW seats installed w the Torfab brackets. These are from a 2015 325i, cost me $200 plus the brackets. What a massive improvement- I think this could be the best “bang for the buck” modification going. Still need to reinstall the Tuffy console, waiting on a switch/indicator for the seat power, which should be here tomorrow. Since I ditched the original rear heater, I just used that relay circuit to power the seats.

(Edit) Oh and I passed PHX emissions again this week. 260k, original engine.

Looks like I will finally take the Nomad for a full body restoration ..... It's strange and a little crazy but it feels like my son is going away to collage or something.
Might just be me but its surprising how much the rig has made an impact in my life in such a relatively short time.
Just had a small family gathering on the beach at night, i could only do that because of Nomad.

I have to say whoever owns a 60 Landcruiser is blessed in ways others might not understand, it is truly a privilege to be amongst friends who share the same feeling.
Right enough of the mushy stuff .... time to go remove my gear :D
