Put a little mud on it

agreed to 6-8 week lead time and to contact Gobi after four weeks for updates... Curious middle-man, but $80 le$$ than Gobi, although no ditty bag like from Gobi.... but io can't imagine its an $80 ditty bag ;)

I've done the measurements per owners here and it should fit perfectly under the Rhino platform. 😈🤞

*Edit* ooh, and this came today...

I've got the Rhino (Pioneer) rack and Gobi ladder combo - fits fine. Nick pick!

I just picked mine up from getting a new paint job! This was under the extended warranty for blizzard pearl. They ended up spraying the hood, roof, both driver's side doors, and the rear fender. I don't really have any good pictures of the paint problems before, but you can see some of it in the first picture. The main spots were under the grill and below the windows on the left side.

Here is the hood now -much better!

I also put in a new drawer that I had purchased while it was in the shop. To my relief, it fits great and still leaves my dog with plenty of headroom. I think he likes having his own space in the GX. (Don't mind the carpet, I just slid it in there for a test fit)

Overall I am happy and it was a good day for the GX!

@tlin Let's see your setup. 🤘 🤘

Is pioneer 76 or 84"?
I might remember this.. are you using factory side Rails and rhino feet to clamp to siderails with a 76" platform? 🤔
Also, per your sig, tell me about the FCPs. how much lift did you get. Do you have extra weight?
33s tires?
I assume non KDSS...
pix and details. please, i'm deffinitely interested!

I got my new OME springs swapped on. These are 885 front and 895 rear, I previously swapped to rear coils with the SSO kit and used V8 4Runner rear coils and 5100 shocks all around with stock front coils on the .85” notch. These definitely lifted a couple inches (I didn’t measure) and put a bit of rake back in.

Look in the bottom left and you can see the tire that blew on the highway Monday that prompted this, it was due for tires soon but this accelerated things a bit. I decided if I was getting new tires it was time to go a bit bigger.

255/80r17 Toyo AT2, definitely taller than the 265/70r17 Nitto Terras that are on there now. I am running the same size 255 Nitto ridge grapplers on my Tacoma

These Toyos are super pizza cutter but I imagine they will fill out a bit once they’re mounted. Hopefully I can get that done this week as long as tire shops stay open...

As I was putting everything back in the tool kit I realized I am missing a few items:

looks like I am missing a double ended wrench, socket, and pliers. Does anyone know if these are sold separately and where I could find part numbers?

ETA so I found the 8/10 wrench 09155-74010 and the pliers 09130-50030 haven’t found the socket. Any suggestions where to order without paying $20 in shipping for $20 of parts?

I've been considering painting my grill, emblems, and the rear unibrow black, but had held off since I didn't know how it would look with my paint color...until now. Thanks!

If my potato-phone didn’t take such s***ty pictures, you'd see it looks even better.
Happy to help another Orygunian.

Do it! My plasti-dip adventures and results can be found at post 3397. Very happy with the outcome!

I pulled wire and installed a fuse panel and Blue Sea connection panel in the back.

I ran it through the grommet to the left of the main firewall loom gasket

into the driver’s door sill...

through the rear door sill to the back...

a note here: to get the front door sill up, you just pull. To get the rear door sill up, you have to remove the step pad, with has two 10mm bolts. To pop the covers off, tip the rear seat forward to get the right angle with the screwdriver.

to get behind the rear side panel, you have to unbolt the seat belt, which is a 14 mm bolt.

After that, it was just pulling really hard and feeding the wire to a pre-drilled hole in the rear side cupboard thing and connecting it all up.
