Love to see the rear bumper when able.Starting on some armor for @joesfj40 piggie.
Front and rear bumpers, front frame extensions, sliders and a roof rack.
Used a scrap 40 front bumper to mock up. I will cut a new shell and bend without all the 40 holes. Keep it clean and not like it was modified to work.

While marking the custom rear bumper with integrated hitch, make sure you leave room to be able to drop the gas tank if needed. Ask me how I knowWill be a dual swing arm with incorporated 2" hitch.
Be later this week.

Good. I welded a bar between the two angled frame gussets as a brace to attach the hitch receiver. Put it about 1/2” too far toward the front and when trying to drop my tank last week…just enough that I can’t get it out. I have it wedged in a position that I THINK if I push the passenger rear spring perch top bolt in flush it might just be enough. Normal approaches to push the bolt won’t work so will try to jack the rear to let off some pressure and use a ball joint press to push the bolt in. Hoping that will work.Mine extends from the rear crossmember rearwards. So not an issue.![]()

Fu*kin artist you are.@joesfj40 rear is mocked up.
2" hitch ties the rear crossmember, bumper and 1/2" frame brackets/recovery points all together. All bolt up, no cutting of the rear crossmember.

Thank you ,But how did you put the cover ( 6 screws ) on that torsion bar ( that bar pushes cover out ) .I get the wood trick for tail gate hinge 'When I did mine, the hinge was already bolted to the tailgate. I then made a wooden brace to hold the rod while I started the bolts in the body. Post 1,391 in my build thread.
