Pretty fortunate that way. We all burn wood, but they wanted to make sure Dad was taken care of. They’re the best! Guess I know where to come get wood in the future , nice pile of heat.

Lost the dip stick tube guide. Looked everywhere for hours. Wife found it just now right where it should be... in the freezer...

Must have put it in there so it shrank...:poof:

Took our pig out for its first overland day trip. Got some dirt under the tires and put it through some paces to get used how it will feel when we hit the road for longer journeys. We are thoroughly impressed (no surprise there), definitely looking forward to getting out again!

I picked one up for the 72 fj40 from NAPA.

Only parts house I didn't look at. I got one coming, I was lucky I started every mower trucks and weed eaters. I was letting them all run walked back up to the house then walk back to the shop and heard a squeaking noise. Seen smoke coming from underneath the hood of the cruiser I was worried. The pulley had locked up and the belt was rubbing against it causing belt to smoke and cause rubber smell. Luckily I caught it turned it off and went ahead and tore into everything. I was really shocked and surprised all the bolts come out. I had one break in half but it came out of the block easily I just hand turned it. Looks to be like a factory pump.

I really thought my engine bay didn't look that bad until I saw that picture I posted. Lol
I could post something to make you feel better...;)

My pump was weeping but the rad was plugged and the heater valve failed closed so I’m waiting to see how it does with actual coolant flow before I order one. Nice to know they are readily had.
