Don't want my family and friends getting the idea they can park anywhere they want just because it's Christmas.

:clap:Added some bling to my mistress. Courtesy of Santa, new chrome grill with cut out letters. More air flow to the radiator.

She has gotten just so into herself. One of those self deserving type princesses. Bloody hell, where will it end.

Is that a grille from a '79? Or did someone cut out an earlier grille? I remember at the Pig Party we were talking about cutting grilles to look like a '79 & '69 (cut around the letters & cut for lights in the grille).

You just upped the ante for the upcoming Show and Shine.:)

I believe it to be factory punched and in perfect condition. It has never been installed until today. I'm not that up on what years or what country's had chrome grills or punched letters. I'd be interests to know more on the subject.

The moment I saw it I knew my little girl would have to have it. And boy did she squeal when she say it. She was always complaining on what a bad job the PO did on painting the letters on the repaint of the original grill.

Although I'm always trying to keep the original parts that came with this gem, I couldn't resist this specimen of history.

This one doesn't have cut out for marker lights

No, that would be '67-'69 grilles. After that, that area was filled in. Then in '79, when they had the skinny radiator, the cut the area behind the letters.

My thought was to take an extra grille I have ('74?) and cut it for the lights and letters!

Nice set up

Coyote sat in the garage while my sons and I cut and split wood. Brutally cold for Missouri. My oldest son brought his 82 60 series, and I had the 100 series. Good afternoon even in 10* weather.
