Always liked that wagon. Are those the KO2 tires?
Yes, mounted them today. Will get the truck back tomorrow and put 300 miles on them driving it home.
Pic of the old krawlers for reference.

Put 300 hwy miles on the KO2 tires this afternoon. These things are butter smooth.
Two thumbs up!

Not today, but last week. Installed a new Holley carb to replace the old leaking carb that I had already rebuilt once, but just could not get to work right. I still dream of EFI, but for now the new carb is a big improvement.

Holley 2300 model made in 2016. The old one was the same model, but from 1988. I have the old Downey conversion. Carb always leaked from one place or another, even after rebuilding it and replacing all the soft parts. When I took apart the old one I also noticed that it had a 25 power valve. The new one came with an 85 power valve, perfect for the 17 vacuum I have on my engine (at least according to what I've read on the net). I swapped in #58 main jets for Denver elevation and pulled the "off road" parts from the old carb - chimney, baffle. No leaks (so far) and runs good.

What kind of seat belts did you use? I got mine off the internet and they catch catch catch while pulling out to attach!!!! Bummer when trying to show off the rig to someone new! You know all those hot chicks!
Wesco and yes, they catch catch catch too. It must be a symptom of aftermarket belts, because I bought some from Seat Belts Plus several years ago for my Trekker and they do the same thing. Just have to pull them out sloooow. My hot chick (wife) has complained about that issue, but she feels safer, so that wins me points. I would buy the Wesco belts again. The backing plates they supply with the hardware kit work perfectly for this application and I needed them for mounting both the front and the back.

They seem to mellow out a little bit after you use them.
