Or you could rebuild one for 10x that amount... :) I'd call Skully!
As tempting as a rebuild seems... I think this is the best option for me. The 1.5F (as it has been called) I have in my :pig: currently is a bit of a bastardization. I believe it has a 2F head as it has what look like FI ports plugged??

Couldn't get my Carter AFB to run right. I took the top off and the right bowl was corroded really bad and full of muck. My old timer neighbor came out with a pretty new Edelbrock carb and handed it to me. Put in and and started right up and I have been driving everywhere this weekend.

wouldn't be here without them!

I bought him a Julian pie and he was happy as a clam.

get back my pig from the shop after 10 weeks to solve the brake problem, still not perfect... gone to use it as a garbage truck

I took the bottom spindles apart, bagging and tagging the left/right & top/bottom. shims retained. I was rereading Guppy's thread kinda panicked that I hadn't kept everything separated. I only took the tops off and had separate boxes for driver and passenger sides. Yay!

Hope to order a knuckle rebuild kit this coming week.

Kurt has some great kits...

Last night I started to get the pig back on the road. Installed gear drive in the 350. Replaced the water pump and flushed the radiator. Next is the replace the transmission due to a bad 3rd gear. When that's done it will be installing a locker on the rear and replacing the axle seals.

I really like that he has everything I would need.

I got under my piggy today and looked at the extensive work it is going to require to get it back on the road to be able to wheel. Getting it driveable is going to take some real work and a skill-set that I will need to learn. Pretty sure everything is original under it. I don't know what it had for stock range of motion/travel, but as it sits, there it only 2.5" between the axle and the bump-stops. This is with no heavy bumpers or a winch.

I see a spring and shock change down the road...
