What did you do to your pig today?

Apparently, when you DD your Pig to & from work in sub-zero temps, Pig doesn't like it too much. Power steering fluid gets really thick, I'm guessing, and will blow your low-pressure line right off the inlet tube...thereby emptying itself of the offending fluid. Also, windows protest against being rolled up or down, and the handle will break off in your hand if you don't listen the first time.
Been having an ongoing issue with my alt not charging all the time. Assuming short drives with headlights & windshield wipers along with the temps can deplete even Yellow tops...
Oh, clutch pedal doesn't like the low temp either, engagement point seems to change with every shift.

today in resto….

Got the whole body painted and re-built. Fired it up after re-wiring and ready for the final details. Headliner install and glass next.

Ok and thanks for the kind words.

Here are two other shots. The wheels/tires are temps until we finish all the rest of the work.

Ordering the door seals and in need of a rear gate JUNCTION BLOCK if anyone knows a option or has this part??? :hhmm:

All the chrome work is back from plating and polishing as well.

I'm getting more pix this week.

What chrome does a Piggy have?

All the door pulls and headlight rings, for two.

Mirrors, tailgate handle, license plate light, windwing frames & latch...
Some Pigs did have the chrome grill and front vents too

Cerdito got a new fuel pump to fix the lean running tbi that was only getting 5lbs of pressure, and a 48 hour slow charge because she gets fired up, moved out of the shop and shut down, then moved back 8 hours later.

With the occasional snow mountain climb thrown it.

What chrome does a Piggy have?

in addition to what's mentioned, inner door release handles, trim around taillamps and marker lamps, trim around ft turn signals on the 70-74s, rear vents, emblems, windshield and cargo window weatherstrip trim (if it has it), some had raingutter chrome, outer window belt weatherstrip had a chrome strip... and the list grows

J block ordered…pick up tomorrow. I had the old/wrong part number so thanks to you all for coming through.

only need the door opening body seals now….
