LSPV in the rear is the classic place where bleeding the brake system chokes.

Thanks Beno.
I am going to build a little pressure bleeder first.
I'll bench bleed the MC and then hit each wheel. I'll bleed the lspv too.

They corrode over time due to their location on the frame rail.

It's not that they fail, it's just that they are difficult to bleed well and thus difficult to bleed the entire system.

Should I replace the Lspv then?

Okay. Thanks.
i will work the spring lever up and down and assess crud that might flow out of valve assembly.

Sound insulation for the hood.

What insulating products did you use?

End results worth it? I'm looking at sound insulation when I redo my radio.

The first layer (silver) is Noico 80 mil sound deadening mat. The second layer (gray) is Noico sound deadening pad. I used the silver stuff on driver's side firewall and floors. I did to use it on the passenger' firewall because of the Hvac system blocking access. There is a definite difference in sound intrusion driver's side versus passenger side. I'm very happy with the product. Purchased on Amazon. I have not reinstalled the hood yet. When driving the truck, most of the noise is coming from the front end/hood region. Cruising between 70 and 85mph requires the radio to be turned up and/or raising my voice to speak with people in the truck. There's enough engine noise intrusion to make normal conversations or listen ting to the radio difficult.

Eager to hear results.
Thanks for posting this stuff.

finished up all the welding on a new winch bar

as can be seen it is very minimalist not being much wider than the chassis rails, but enough room for the winch and some spotlights on top and two recovery points on the front.

next is clean up, paint and install

Made an appointment to get my Harrop E-locker fitted 3 weeks from now.
Thanks Ward!
