The center support will need to be modified. That seems to be about the worst of it. Im planning to get 3/4” hose 90s to come down off the radiator and back int the engine compartment under the battery tray.
I think I can rout them in without doing any cutting. Also had this handy intake flange fabbed up to replace the throttle body I no longer need.

hey Houser, that heater valve has the mount bracket ive been looking for, do you happen to have a part number for the valve assembly?

Took the 35’s off of the 74 and threw them onto the 75.

Fits perfectly.

Now I need to decide if I should powder coat the wheels the original grey, or maybe silver, or go with fifteen52’s analog wheel in grey. Not a fan of black wheels the older I get.

I’ll be emailing soon for a tie rod end kit and possibly some extended links amongst other things….

By chance do the 80 series quick release links work for a 7x?

I'm in same boat

Ordered TRE kit, the bad one is the relay off the pitman arm.

Also ordered seals/bearing kit to do the front axle.

Starting on replacement of all fluids today

Giving the shell T5 15/40 synthetic a try in the 1HZ and will send out sample of current oil to blackstone to see what they can tell me.

Edit: Engine sounds a lot better with the 15/40 honey than whatever was in there.

Got all hardware associated with the relay and steering stabilizer loosened up but need to pick up a different TRE puller

Will probably purchase the classic "fork" and a three prong puller to cover all bases.

The Cruiser has been parked in bright sun at The Toyota Collection in Cologne for several hours. Sauna.
AC is soooo nice 😍😁. Cheers Ralf
Neither my AC or my heater work... The heater core has been bypassed, no belt on the AC compressor, and the condenser radiator is pretty beat up. In my wet and cold New Zealand climate, I'm thinking I need to test the heater core for leaks and replace if necessary. I need a way to defog windows!

The real power of defog is when the A/C is fully functional and can dry the hot air as it blows.

I would even go so far as too say that A/C is more important than heat in defogging windows.

On a newer car, try turning off the A/C when the defog runs (if you even can). You will see a major drop in performance.

Decided it was time to deal with my leaky radiatior. The Previous Owner put StopLeak in, but I was having to fill it every 2 days. PO also supplied with a new radiator they had not yet fitted.

Supposedly a "quick job" immediately became extended when I couldn't get the lower radiator guard off. Had to get out the cordless grinder.

I then discovered that the radiator supplied by PO didn't even fit my BJ70. Mine has inlet + outlet on the left, passenger side, while this one has them on the right. BJ70 radiators are basically unbuyable. I considered bodging it to fit with extended hoses, but I've decided to take the existing rad to a repair shop and see if they can remove, clean and resolder the tanks. The leaks are very obvious, and I'm hoping it will be a reasonably easy and affordable fix.
