Took the ute up to a neighbors off the grid cabin to move a piano, yes a piano. 4WD was needed as the road to the cabin is a washed out mess. The ute ate it up! The piano move was brutally heavy but we got it done. On the way back home...

I love how Aussie your truck looks! To me there’s something special about the way outback trucks look, with the sun visor and bullbar.

Did you move it several meters or miles?

Is the bed of the truck set up for camping (I’m sorry, Overlanding)?

It isn’t set up “formally” for camping ( overlanding😛) but I have camped out of it before. It’s long enough and tall enough to accommodate a cot for sleeping and haul enough gear for a week. With the awning, I can create additional living space for cooking and protection from the weather. It’s primitive by today’s standards but it works for as often as I camp.

If you can eat, sleep and you’re not a bear snack during the night it’s more than adequate. :)

Under-the-bonnet parts like the windscreen washer pump and tubing arrived.
I had previously scraped and applied MasterSeries silver primer (paint over rust) at all the spots where the bonnet frame was once glued to the bonnet sheet metal. Using a very handy air brush, I sprayed over the silver primer with epoxy primer. I finished by re-gluing with seam sealer in a caulk gun.

Did some other rust remediation around the bonnet latch. Some very nasty rust there. I literally poured the silver primer all over that area; let it set for 2 days then epoxy primer followed by SEM black trim paint. The low-gloss SEM black is awesome stuff. Replaced the washer squirter tubes, the washer pump and the rubber bumpers at the edge of the engine compartment.

A friend took this shot of us with his YashicaLM on a recent backpacking trip. Looks straight out of 1987

There’s something special about the way film looks that a digital camera just can’t match.

@Bogan 80's era film cameras give such a nice raw feel to their pictures. Especially love that mid format look. My stupid Pentax K1000 from high school still shoots some of my favorite pictures.

Nice Baja Designs btw I was worried I'm alone in my fanboydom there. I like how the LP6's fill out the traditional space you'd expect aux lights to use.

The LP6s are the only thing that doesn't look 1987 in that pic :) been eyeing a set of amber ones for an upcoming build.

FWIW I've run the squadron sports in Amber and with the speeds Land Cruisers go I don't think you need much bigger. I'm also lower income.
