Took Righty, my BJ74 out to Anza Borrego State Park on a quick solo camping mission...simple fun and a welcome break from all the transmission and birf rebuild work I've been doing on my 80.

First night somewhere along the way

What a fun truck the BJ74 is. So simple and capable.

Put the vapor barrier on the door, hopefully that will cut down on drafts. Somehow I only ordered 1  so drivers door for now.

I cleaned up the door more, but I didn’t get anymore pictures. they opened the front bottom of the door to fit the speakers.

took Finnick in for a test drive. Terrible photo in the dark, but as you can see big enough to sit on the seat, legs on the floor, head on the dash.

Whenever I actually drive the BJ 74 I say to myself, man you should really drive this truck more, it is a lot of fun!

I’ve got the boost Adjusted to 12 pounds and it spools up very quickly and smoothly, temps on long hard uphills haven’t exceeded 1150.

I remember reading the 70 Series section before buying the truck and being worried that it would be a bit of a dog. It’s no race car but it is plenty quick for me!

She really makes that truck look good. She is much better at it than you are.

I've floated the idea of using it as my dd and he could drive the 100 to NYC and Boston. I had my best day in it today; drove it around a parking lot (where we found some movie set vehicles)...

...to get to third and then he let me drive to our brewery and back, which is about an hour of back roads driving.

It is delightful to drive. And it all makes sense to me. I fell in love with that truck before I ever knew what Onur looked like.
