Yes, super easy. Take old arms off and put new arms on. It’s either a 10 or 12mm nut. Were these easy to swap from the factory wiper arms?

I just put rain x on the windshield and then any wiper blade works well enought

do the 4 runner arms and blades allow the window squirters to work properly? i have newer oem 62 arms that wipe well but because of all the newer blade attachments they sit so far off the window that they actually block the spray to the glass
A lot of good answers in this thread. I personally use the Rain-X washer fluid, Rain-X or Bosch Icon beam style 17" blades (whichever I find less expensive at the time) and have the 4Runner arms. To add to that, my motor is in need of a refurb (getting old and tired) so if the commutator is still good the armature will get a good cleaning in the ultrasonic, new brushes and be reinstalled along with a new ball joint bushing where the motor arm connects to the linkage (courtesy of Absolute Wit's End @NLXTACY), lubricated with Syl-Glide at all pivot joints.
I definitely agree on the actual Rain-X compound. I do like their washer fluid though for winter and rainy weather. My go to in the summer is the Bug Wash.Yep just recently put some Bosch Icon blades on my Tundra, the previous "OEM" dealer blades didn't last long and chattered bad. These Bosch have been buttery smooth.
I've always shied away from RainX on the windshield...I've seen it create a gummy film and build up on a vehicle, talk about blade chatter, holy hell!! Maybe thing have changed, but RainX on all the other glass and mirrors rocks.
I have 4runner/80 arms and OEM blades on the Cruiser...it's mo betta.
Hmmm now that you mention it I did notice that my PS squirter was coming up a little short after the upgrade while the DS works fine. I assumed it was the sprayer itself. I'll investigate a little more today and get back to you.
