Pinion seals are like fine wine. A little better once they age a few years on the shelf.

Well done Greg!

Yes sir, PM2000 3HP single phase TS. I got it about 10 years ago. It's been pretty lightly used but is a great saw. I bought it when I was down in Atlanta from a large shop that outfitted all the local high schools and trade schools. That was right around the time the Sawstop came out, I bought my saw "used" from a high school that had it in their shop for 2 months and then switched to a Sawstop. Got a killer deal on it and I bet it was turned on only a handful of times. Early in the school year they keep the kids away from the big table saws :)

I just got the bandsaw a few weeks ago at the black Friday 15% off sale. Hoping it is as high quality as the TS.

As the unofficial supplier of cargo drawer boxes for Keystone Cruiser members I want to make sure I have the proper equipment to do a good job!

Merry Christmas everyone.

I'd say it almost official by now.. top notch gear!

Finished up rebuilding the rear hubs and brake calipers on Saturday. The preload on the wheel bearings was a lot looser than it should have been (someone had been in there before). Put 700 miles on it yesterday and so far no problems. No more rear axle oil seal leaks, and braking is improved, though I think I still need to adjust the LSPV. Anyone done this?

Saw this guy parked in the hardware store parking lot while picking up bolts to complete my stereo bracket install courtesy of @Crusha. Thanks again! I waited around for a few minutes, but no sign of the owner.

I adjusted my LSPV a few weeks ago. Just loosen the two bolts that mount it to the bracket and move it down about 1/4" for a 2.5" lift (the bracket is slotted). A bit more for a higher lift. The FSM shows some special gauges that check proper pressure at each wheel, but I think most people just wing it.. Good Luck.

Tacoma's and 4runners usually make a bracket extension to bolt to the axle and raise the bar by however much lift you have. Its really easy

Well salt and brine was laid down today for some reason so the 40 is officially tucked away for winter. Now to get serious about some winter projects.

It got too cold for me to mud the fresh Sheetrock after wiring up the garage. With the garage project stalled, I can't pull the engine. So winter projects have been relegated to long term annoyances...like getting my ambulance door lock in-seized.

And figuring out why my truck runs cold. Turns out it is because the PO had installed a GM temperature sender into a manifold air passage, and hooked it up to the Toyota gauge. Basically, my temperature gauge has been making stuff up for 3 years...

Gotta love things that your previous ownrr did. Some stuff makes you scratch your head.

I just picked up two projects for the winter. I have to fix one for myself and one for a guy from jersey. After I finish a 3fe change for a friend of mine it will be on to these beauties

I always di these in ym garage but it'stoo cold out there these days. brought the trasnny into my basement and am doing it on the workbemnch down here. You can see some of the parts laid out on my bench, waiting for the rebuild kit to arrive to reassemble.
Also working on reassembling the nephew's 40 after this glitch: Need help/direction with top and door fitment problem It is looking fine now and i am hopeful that after tomorrow it might be reayd for state inspection. I was so close when I found the door fitment problem, made me sick. All is well now, I hope...........
