Thought I would bump my old build thread back up for the newer crowd. :) To answer the final question, it went to a gentleman in Nova Scocia and as far as I know it sits in his garage at his vacation home and is rarely driven. He did need to redo the brakes when he got it. He felt it was a nessesary safety thing as his younger kids would drive it as well.

One of my favorites, I may even paint the next one I'm working on the same color. also going with the same tires, really liked the looks of those TSL Radial 32 x 10.50's.

Going with a soft top on the next one... what color soft top would go good with Olive?

When I get a soft top for mine, it'll be khaki;)

That was a beautiful truck rebuild. Those 32x10.50 TSL's did look great. I scanned through the posts, but don't remember seeing anything about the suspension. What did you use for springs and shackles? The truck sat nice with that size tire.

downey or some one made desert springs they were really stiff and were for high speed desert wheeling .they had no flex at all at slow speed but taken apart they worked well in beefing up the stock suspension by adding a leaf from those springs

Those tires look great and really fit a mild lift well.
They are still available but I noticed their price is almost double what they were for this project.
Super Swamper TSL radials. 32 x 10.50.
