I’m trying to complete my set. I’m missing a few wrenches. I’d prefer the old ones so they match and I need a “holder”. Anyone have any of this they wanna let go?
Mine:

Examples of others (I do have the Jack as well):

EDIT: The wrenches I have may not be the right ones for this set. Anyone know?

We have some more KTC wrench clips on the way and a couple old wrenches in the right style if you are interested?

I’ll message you.

These are the correct "spanners". I do not want to remove the clip as it has never been disturbed.

I need to backpedal a bit. Your kit is the "smaller" version that does not have carburetor adjusting tools. That has 5 instead of 6 spanners and the clip is not stamped with TEQ, only KTC and a patent number. The later set omits the 8 x 9 spanner.

So my set should be 5 pieces just like this pic I’m sharing…? Also is the center concave?

I’ve found a few of them so far and I don’t want to buy the wrong ones.

What I can see looks like what you need. Here is what the flip side of the spanners looks like. We need to see the other side of those and also the the other side of the clip to see if the markings match.

After studying the photo of your kit I don't think you have the correct adjustable wrench or pliers.
Note the markings on these. The kit these came from is part of treeroot's extensive tool collection that is on display here at the museum.

I’ll take detailed pics of mine. I don’t recall any of the details really. I snagged it when a MUD member was letting it go.

Here is my tool pouch with TEQ tools. I am missing the Toyota crescent wrench that @cruiserdan has above is anyone has an extra for me!

@The Jade Bean , you've got an awesome roll going. As @cruiserdan mentioned, the two open-ended wrenches, pliers, and adjustable wrench aren't correct for your canvas, which is from the 1969-1971 era (@Blastservices ). The photo below is from member wscbill's Tool Kit Inventory file. Bill's pioneering research produced some invaluable information. We are all indebted to him. I can help you with the three pieces of the puzzle you are missing (wrench set with clip, pliers, and 250mm adjustable wrench). I'll shoot you a PM.

And @cruiserdan , that's a pretty sweet blue clip in your first response. Unscratched ones like that don't surface very often. Nice.

@NYIronPig , your roll would have come with a 200mm adjustable wrench rather than the 250mm. The 200mm wrench would either be forged with just TOYOTA MOTOR, or it would have had the "TEQ" logo between TOYOTA MOTOR (TOYOTA TEQ MOTOR). A clue to which one your kit would have come with is in your screwdriver. Yellow acrylic-handled screwdrivers in earlier kits also had TEQ (TOYOTA TEQ MOTOR). Since your screwdriver is just TOYOTA MOTOR, I suspect the correct 200mm adjustable wrench for your kit is just TOYOTA MOTOR also, rather than TOYOTA TEQ MOTOR. I can help you out with that also. Will send you a PM as well.

You should see the kit it came out of. The whole thing is minty-fresh. Probably the nicest one in existence.

Also is it better to keep the grease gun in the original packaging as it’s never been opened?

Tools branded only "Toyota" (instead of "Toyota Motor") are modern versions of the tools and are generally still available new from Toyota.

Well, many people may say yes to that. In my opinion a tool is meant to be used otherwise there is no value to it.

Good to know.

I agree, but I have all these modern tools already. I have the roll because I like old Toyota stuff. I’m not saying it can’t be used, but owning it because you appreciate it is fine too imo.
