Holy crap, thank goodness I towed these things. That place is a LONG way from here. 1100 miles round trip. It’s pretty amazing. A privately owned 77,000 acre park. We rode hard for 2 days and maybe saw 5% of it.

We got back yesterday and unpacked and cleaned up the trucks a little.

Today I am back in my routine. I hit the gym and went shopping for stuff for the Troopy.

I got back about 10:30 and Meshal and I jumped in the Goat and went to a local grease house for a burger.

He was a bit freaked out by the whole place but I love it.

I got back at it at noon and got the interior put back in place with the new brake light switch. I spent the rest of the afternoon making a mount and mounting the ARB dual compressor. Tomorrow I’ll finalize the wiring and hopefully I’ll have some driveshafts so I can take this thing for a spin

Is that black air line from ARB ? It looks larger than the old blue stuff ?
It is. I have no idea what they provided you back in the 70s when you built your 40

Is the compressor isolated to prevent rattling through the floor?

The mount is insulated but you will hear that thing anywhere you mount it.

The last 75 I built we put it under there and it’s a decent location. We built a big expensive box around it that every time we go out I look under there and it’s clean.

Not planning on a cover on this one.

I have also run a few under the loadbin with success. Only change I make is to remote mount the filters, they can rattle off under the truck leading to the ARB sucking in water/dirt.
