It's amazing how many people around the station have generators, ours (the dept) came from the old Greenville Mall.

Greenville Mall.....two great memories:
1. About 15 years ago our youngest, then 2.5, pulled the fire alarm in the Talbott's store while my wife was shopping! I was standing out front and she came running to me as soon as the alarm sounded. I didn't see her do it but was pretty confident that she had done it. She wanted to leave but I intentionally made here stay with me to watch the firemen come to reset it!
2. One of my nephews at age 4-5 announced to his 2 older sisters that he was going to pee into the fountain inside the mall and then pulled down his pants and proceeded to do so! His mom was about 50 yds away and could only watch in horror!

33% chance I was there that day! Ha. We used to run out there all the time.

Before we got them we had an old 5000watt generator we had to drag extension cords through out the station to use. coffee machine about wiped that thing out, had to sleep in turnouts in the station because one heater was all it could do. That one kicks on so fast it's amazing and except for the hum in the background you'd never know it was on. It's actually ridiculously over sized for the station but it was way cheaper used than a new one the appropriate size.

I'm very impressed of the stewardship that was demonstrated there! Now if they could do more of that and put the $ towards improving the roads! I know we aren't the only state dealing with it...noticed just yesterday that a good portion of northbound 85 in GA just above Commerce was pretty bad! The sad thing is that I thought I was in SC!

Happy Birthday to @aquatech3 & @ceby! Cool they share the same birthdate! :grinpimp::grinpimp::grinpimp:  o_O

I'm good, Seneca Got NOTHING! I was driving through Taylor's when it broke and it was insane. I swear I saw baseball size hail.

That was strange....we live off East North and Mitchell Rd and got a tad of rain and not much else til very late. I think the hail was maybe a mile or two from us.

Pure craziness last night with the hail out towards Greer. Haven't been able to assess potential damage yet since it was dark when i left for work this morning. My parents are in Greer and their house got flooded. Built on a slab. About an inch of water into the bedroom and den.

My coworkers brand new 4runner is all messed up and his jeep that was fixed last year from hail is screwed as well. He said it even cracked a skylight in his house.

This morning our realtor's assistant had her Corolla at the house we are buying. It looked like someone had beaten the snot out of her car with a ball peen hammer! Crazy!
