Gabe I have a bad feeling about you owning a fixer upper boat. Carry multiple paddles and plenty of life vests.

I own a 17ft center console. I've had for 17 years. I baby that thing. But having the center console is the best of all worlds. Easy to clean, great for fishing, and small enough to not be a pain to take it to the beach. Perfect for 4 people. Anymore though and it gets tight. Did I mention it's easy to clean?
 
We gots 4 kids. It's ok everyone if it doesn't work out I part it out. I have even took into consideration the price of replacement motors.
 
Yeah, after seeing the price you paid, you could sell that trailer for $200-$300 and sell the trolling motor for $100-$200, so I don't think you'll lose money in that aspect. Just don't go down the rabbit hole and spend $4000 to have a $2000 boat.

Got the motor running on the project boat today. Tilt and trim working. Steering is working. Bilge pump and lights working.

Only thing not working is the water pumps. Going to replace both. Well we assume there is one in the lower unit. After that hope to put it in the water see what it will do. Then on to replacing some wood and carpet.
 
Proof I do use my tools for something! Got a better price by ordering the two smaller ones online but had to assemble. Working on Aarons as we speak!

Dude thats kinda freaky, that was just about an hour ago. The wife sent me to Geralds Candy and Nut gift shop to buy a bunch of peanut brittle for gifts for Christmas, i get there and the building is completely gone! I had to google it up, turns out they moved down the street. When I pulled in there, I actually thought to myself, this will probably look kinda weird, sitting in this random, vacant parking lot in my obnoxious, beat-up old cruiser!

Yeah I put some on the driver side the other day but Ive been telling you that you need to make up some Trollhole's Cruisers stickers!

Now you get to see why some of us go sporadic with events etc. totally worth it. Definitely helps you see what's most important.
