I've been making a list of house repairs to do next year. The wife was wanting a boat. Guess I lost.

Looks like a project boat. Is that considered a deck boat? It looks very roomy. Does it run already?

I sold my last boat almost 10 years ago and haven't had one since. I have had the itch but don't know what I want. I like the thoughts of a pontoon for the family. I want a center console for fishing the coast and another aluminum boat for duck hunting.

The wife wants a boat eventually, but I keep telling her that we are better off renting one the two or three times a year we want one. But, we have a long standing agreement that if I'm ever forced to live on the coast, I get a center console.

Gabe, that boat looks to be in rough shape. Is the hull solid on it, or pretty soft? Just wondering if it's worth fixing up. After being on/around boats for a couple years old boats scare me.

Hull is solid. Florida was replaced already everywhere except back section around motor.

It definitely is a project however I only paid $500 for it. Josh was with me. He knows boats as well. I plan on buying a battery for it this weekend. Then a quick diagnosis will be in order.

I am willing to risk a certain amount of money as you must "pay to play". At my purchase price I can get most if not all back from the sale of the trailer and trolling motor.

Registered until 2017 as well. Made me feel a little bit better about the risk.

Yes it is considered a deck boat. Wife wanted a pontoon but I can't afford one unless I sell the 40. At the moment that's not in the cards. I did have someone try to buy my 60 however.
