Picked up a 10 liter nato can at "grouchos military surplus" in clyde NC today for $15. Liked it because its not as big as the 20 i have. Minor surface rust. Inside looks good.

Zf transmission paid us a visit at greenville tech today. Apparently they are desperate for help across the board. From production associates to maintenance.

We (Piedmont Tech) do a good bit of their training at our Laurens campus. From what I have heard much of their issues are people who want to work vs smoke weed of not show up, etc. I know several engineering folks from Ptc who are working out there.
I have a family member who is doing a co-op there and he is making VERY a very good hourly wage for a co-op student. They are doubling their plant size I believe also so their future appears bright at present. He worked for me last summer and I almost feel bad for paying him $10/hr compared to what ZF is paying him, almost...

You'll be seeing more military vehicles of that style soon. The military has just granted a contract to build what are essentially Ultra 4 (King of Hammers type) fast assault vehicles. It was a 3 year competition for the contract. Advanced adapters is supplying the transfer cases.
