I am casually looking for another vehicle around 6-8k max! Prefer 4door truck that we all could get in but i have to drive it everyday so 18-20mpg is a must! Would love tundra but mucho dinero! Any thoughts!

you can get a 4 dr accord, civic or integra in the 95-2002 range easily for under 7K. I still love the 92-95 OBD I hondas the best!

Probably 3-4K tops for one that is very unmolested/good shape

Or for 1500-2500 you could get a nice motorcycle that will get you 50+mpg...just gotta get winter/waterproof gear!

truck i want a truck

How hard did you ram that vette?

40mph hard. Probably going to have to replace tailpan on vette. Did not shatter but was damaged. Oh and paint. Thank God for insurance!

Josh has a good point. Take some money, finished the cruiser, then buy commuter car. With a trailer and a cruiser, you will never miss the truck.

want to be able to haul stuff like a pontoon!

Buy a house on the Lake, Finish the Cruiser, and get a Diesel VW Golf and burn Veggie 50MPG free fuel!!!

False. I really want my Tacoma back. That's my shoulda never sold truck.

I scored a 1994 Fzj80 with locking diffs in decent condition, for.....................$2100.......

oh yea 171k miles

no radio,
sunroof does not slide back,
small interior stuff is really what is wrong with it.. steering column cover is broken, xfer shifter cover is wanky
tires wont last 10k miles...
diff lights are flashing when engaged,, either the motors are burned out (I hope not) or the wires are cut for the multiple switches a kid installed, or they are just gummed up too much to engage...

it has been in a small accident or two but the repairs seemed good, and the frame is fine...

no oil or trans/xfer leaks...

Hope you had full coverage on the truck. Glad your OK, I agree about the truck, I had never owned a pickup until last year, but after I sold it I missed it, there is something about having the bed to be able to haul and throw stuff in the back, etc.

For another 2400 you could have had a nice 60 that has sat 7 years and doesn't run..and oh yeah...a tree limb did damage to the roof.

Interior fair.

Over 10k invested

The 2f sucks on power and acceleration. A 350 would pull a boat as well as a truck.
Trailer brakes will help stopping if it's too heavy.

My 40 pulls my venture 21 fine fully loaded

so you are saying i could pull a pontoon with my 60 if i add trailer brakes. Cool!

A pontoon is not heavy compare

Unless u get a really large pontoon weight is not the issue...it's just that it's like pulling a parachute. Getting to 60 MPH may take some time

So now the wife says get a cheap car, finish the cruiser and by a trailer! Now I am confused!

That's what happens when you listen to the wife, course you don't end up single. :D
