good progress so far!

Just got back from a week at Dillon beach. That place is awesome. Me and my uncles went crabbing in the kayaks. We got 20 crabs and a sunken kayak. good times! I get to go back there to Petaluma in a few days for the PMC swap meet. Trying to get the cruiser all finished so i can drive it down there. I have lots of parts for sale! I was able to weld the sliders on before I left. Tires and wheels are in. I can't wait to see them on. Drivelines and break lines on on. Need to mount the shocks and make the locker switch plate. Then get all the fluids in an it should be good to go. Lots of pictures to come!

Today was an exciting day. Got all the fluids in, got the front spacers on (will get rears soon), Tires mounted, and also was able to start making shock hoops. Also pulled it out of the shop and rinsed it down. It feels so good to be up high in that thing! It looks really tough. Now if only I could find my stupid camera cord!:bang: Also I need to decide if im going to black out all the trim and grille, or just leave it. What do you guys think? i was thinking about maybe doing a semi gloss gray instead of black. Suggestions?

If the chromes in good shape, let it be.

Seriously halfway decent trim is getting rare. Trade with me if you want a black grille!

Loaded the cruiser up and took it to the exhaust shop today. Having them tuck it up and having a Magnaflow muffler installed. The stock exhaust was strange...Never seen anything like it. It had two cats, each routed parallel on each side of the frame. Do most of the 62 have it that way? The cat on the outside was in the way of installing the sliders, so we had to reroute it.

Well, I ran to target and got a much needed card reader. Try not to drool on your keyboard..

I had a feeling I put them on wrong. I wasn't sure which way they went and didn't have any references. Do i just need to flip them, or do I need to rotate them also? Thanks for helping me out man.

Edit: I figured it out. I need to flip and rotate right? The "stop" needs to be up and face inside correct? I guess that the only way it would stop it from inverting.
