well won’t help your budget but send me some info on the pacific blue 04 please.

I scored a burrito basket (food warmer) last month and finally got it painted and installed the other day. Haven't had a chance to try it yet because I completely forgot about it before my 7 hour drive home from VA on Sunday!

That's on my short list for moonshine. Love those things.

That was going to be my question. Also all MTB components are designed to resist moisture. My frame is cromo steel and has been in several rainstorms and I've never had an issue with rust. In addition, most suspension bearings are sealed bearings and the BB's won't fall out unless the bearing seal is pried off.

Carbon frame. I pried too hard and the bearing flew apart. I rode the bike through 2 feet of water. I will never do that again. I had to hammer out the bottom suspension bolt. Posting pics now.

@uzj100 can you take a picture of the pivot pin?

I replaced the bearings in my Stumpjumper many years ago and I remember that it was an awful experience. I didn't remove the seal but on two of the bearing, there was no way for me to get them out. I replaced the remaining two and slathered the pivot pin in high quality grease. After all that, the bike was noise free for about 8 months.

This bike has been quiet over the past 5 years until I ran through this deep water. Lesson learned. ugh.

Redneck homemade Kroil = 1 part ATF + 1 part Acetone. Use within 2-3 days.
Crap. I used atf and kerosene. Oh well, it still smells real nice.

@jfz80 will not be available until October. 1 or 2 owner. Getting more details today. That color is so rare and awesome.

Didn't realize it was a CF frame, in that case not sure heat and Kroil will help much. I'll just butt out now, sorry....
i have to try it. will let you know. i will be careful with the heat.

Last bit of Sugar's fuel system. Something very satisfying about making a fuel line that follows contours of the fire wall.
