So installed new turn signal switch today. Blinkers turn on but don’t flash. Hazards work as they should.
I removed the relay and it’s OG. Opened it up and looks brand new. Cleaned the connections and it’s clicking when engaged.
#6 fuse is good. Any ideas? Assume check my grounds but anything outside of that I might be missing. Assume the relay could still be bad but what I have read about my situation maybe not. Thanks

With hazards on, go look at each signal and make sure they blink. How much play in the rod and joints from the signal lever to the box down by the floor.

Follow each circuit to bulb and check for +12v then verify ALL grounds are connected and clean.

If each ground doesn’t test with continuity to ground via multimeter OR 12v not present when the circuit should have power, work backward on wiring harness until you find your fault.

Also make sure your bulbs are good and correct for application.

The front signal lights ground through the light pod mounting hardware, which is a dodgy way to ground a circuit as it's prone to corrosion. I got mine to work by cleaning up the threads, etc., but lots of people run a dedicated ground wire from the pod into the engine bay somewhere, which is probably the way to go.

These two grounds have no wires to them. I read one of these is for the turn signals. Dos anyone know? I’m no to 40 so working though this and appreciate the help!

I dont think those are factory grounds, but it really doesn't matter. Early model 40s ground the fixtures thru their mounting bolts and fasteners. I think later models added a dedicated ground wire. You can clean your mounting fasteners and try to fix it. It's best to add a ground wire to the fixture near the bulb and ground it to the frame or a solid ground somewhere and be done with it. Coolerman sells stk butt connectors. I used pop rivets and a ring connectors on the fixture housings.

I get that just didn’t know in what regard they had to do with what I was dealing with. I appreciate the replies though.
Problem was the tail lights weren’t connected at the 3rd wire. Got those wired up and I’m all good now.

Check your bulb wattages.

If they're flashing on hazards, and only illuminating on turn, then the circuits are all OK, but the flasher unit isn't correctly loaded.
Could be corrosion on some connections, or else the wrong bulb fitted (too low wattage).
