Received 2019 Limited 4WD today, will be the wife's main vehicle. She wants a minor lift (2"-ish) and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires, but that will probably be all we do to this one. It'll be the tamest vehicle we have

Hey! No worries at all. It’s a 1794 edition with the TRD Off Road package. I am not a fan of chrome usually but I do think it looks good on this color. There is a lot more metal flake in the paint than I originally thought, which makes the color change a lot depending on lighting. I may black it out though…. Stay tuned. So far it’s incredible, a lot of power and drives really well. I have had several Toyotas, this is just the latestCongratulations. Is that a Platinum? It is the first Mud Bath colored Sequoia I have seen with chrome. I didn't think chrome would look good but I actually like that grill with that color. How do you like it so far? What did this replace? I don't want to seem like I am peppering you with a ton of questions, but there is a severe lack of participation in the Sequoia forums I am aware of... not sure if I can mention them but I will edit my post if I need to (ToyotaSequoia.net, the Sequoia sections on Tundras.com, ToyotaTruckClub.com, and ToyotaNation.com). And the little participation there is seems to be people with older model Sequoias looking for info on replacing something. It seems like the Sequoia is the least discussed Toyota model on forums. Is that because there are so few out there? Relatively speaking?
Nice job! And a nice gaggle of FJ Cruisers back there too.
Are you lifted at all? Bigger tires? It looks stock in these pictures. I've always been curious i of the 2nd gen sequoias off-road capabilities with how the rear suspension is set up
Part number for the rear coils? Also curious to know how the ride was affected.
Looks like it's C59-477 (Dobinsons) based on the Exit Offroad website where I bought them. They come in black, too, but the black is not in stock anywhere.Part number for the rear coils? Also curious to know how the ride was affected.
Would love to fight off the ugly sag wife's TRD PRO has being unloaded. Was looking at Dobinson coils for a long time.Looks like it's C59-477 (Dobinsons) based on the Exit Offroad website where I bought them. They come in black, too, but the black is not in stock anywhere.
Haven't installed them yet. Waiting for some brake parts to arrive first, then will do it all at once.
Correct, coils. I'm pretty sure the airbags were only available on the Platinum (or do you have them on the TRD Pro as well?)Would love to fight off the ugly sag wife's TRD PRO has being unloaded. Was looking at Dobinson coils for a long time.
Your Limited came with coils, no air bags?
No, TRD PRO is all coils. Shocks are nice (FOX), coils - not so much. I almost wish Gen 2 was a solid rear axle. Or, in case of IRS, self-leveling shocks (Nivomats et al) had to be standard, air bags as an option. As is, TRD PRO is just a badge, bang of bucks is about zero. Even skid plate is crapCorrect, coils. I'm pretty sure the airbags were only available on the Platinum (or do you have them on the TRD Pro as well?)
