Pics on MUD do not give the real feel. My sliders arrived today. OMG these are stout! No question about it, these will support the whole truck and not just protect the rocker panel. If that bastard in the Subaru at the grocery store slams their door open it your 60, they will be sorry... 😆

I hate that subaru bastard, as much as the audi one.

@Kmonty66 80 axle coil conversion is about done. The ride is amazing.

Not to be the 'fly in the ointment'...but dang my OEM 100 front calipers were crapola. Free play, spongy (no matter the bleed out...) until I swapped in Stoptech BBK. No other changes and freeplay was and still is < 1", easy to swap out pads, no mo mush-mush pedal feel...100k mile rotor life, blah, blah, blah (8,000lb rolling weight in full tour mode)...100% recommended.

Carry on :D

I think all 100s feel like that or at least the 20-30 I've driven. But the 60 doesn't have a few things that the 100 does.

1) 20% of the curb weight (in your case 75%+)
2) ABS system
3) THAT ABS PUMP -- WHAT A POS!! The older it is the more it cycles and weakens as time goes by.
4) ABS module that tells the pump how much and when to hold/release pressure, not to mention needs a voltage signal or the whole shebang.. well sucks even more.

Take the above out of the equation and a SIMPLE NON ABS system and the larger 100 components are great for the 60.

P, Just need to make a trip to CND.... NB or Golden. Need to get started on the BC property one of these days. Too much work and need more play time :bang:

Even with stock 60/62 axles them coil springs would be amazing. I'm sure the OME leafs I've got waiting to go in will be a HUGE upgrade over what I'm running now, but maybe in the future I can look into the coil spring conversion.

I didn't see this asked, but say one wanted to put an 80 rear under their 60 using the TT coil spring kit; would the 80 axle's mounts fit right up, or would the axle still need modifying?

Another batch of 60 coil swap kits getting started. Thanks for the orders guys.

Maybe I missed it but do you have more info on the 80 axle mount kits (I have the axles and want to put them on)? I'm broke right now but may have a better job in a month or two. They aren't limited run are they? I'm interested in what's happening for the rear; if the 80 coil can be retrofitted there as well.

Like all things Trail Tailor.. if there is a demand we will continue to make them. The rear kit will be a coil spring conversion as well and we should have it ready to show shortly.
