@EmanC recommended the Trak-4 GPS tracker to me. I use it in my FJ62 along with a special kill switch. Pure piece of mind. 
I am not a big fan of the apple tracker. Really spotty tracking and updating.

With a little searching there's a lot of threads on the subject.
I was thinking of:
-blocking the steering wheel and/or in combination with shifting pook
-blocking the battery in combination with alarm (as the bonnet is very accessible and I want only 1 remote control), although power on the radio would be needed after shutting down
-on a good place an hidden switch, (yeap, where would that be....
)
-other thoughts?
I received the Cruiser Cult anti theft harness, keep you posted.
Now overthinking what would be a very hidden switch location/or use an original switch with 3 positions (with turn knob)

AirTags aren't really that great, better than nothing, but the lag to update location is a thing and they alert phone users they are being tracked. Even if you hide it well and remove speaker. I like the Trak-4 tracker. Hardware is dirt cheap and the Subscription cost is minimal and uses a real cell sim card so as long as it's in phone range it'll update location. On board battery means it'll still work even if battery is disconnected. Plus they are easy to hide it's just a generic plastic box, doubt people would give it a second look if they came across it. Just needs power and ground. Can tap that from anywhere.
