Yikes! I have not played a video game EVER in my life…but this one ? I absolutely want to try. My first computer was a VIC-20 too.

I can't remember if the Trs-80, Vic-20, or Orange (apple clone) was my first.

You may also remember the Ti-99 4a, IBM XT... :D

@bikersmurf 😂. Every one of them. my first major upgrade computer was the Commodore 64 with a 5 1/4 add-on floppy drive instead of the cassette tape recorder for the VIC20. After that was the IBM XT 8088 CPU with a 10mb Corvus hard drive. The hard drive was the size of the first VCR’s in the 1970’s and was stored on the floor…and to back up the hard drive, they used a regular VHS tape recorder and a typical 2 hr tape.

This was touted as a big hard drive back then and could store the equivalent of 10,000 letter sized pages of data. Started using DOS 2.0. Wow!
Got this far the first day using Basic
10 print “HELLO”
20 goto 10

this was the result on those monochrome screens
Hello
Hello
Hello
Hello
Forever into perpetuity until you hit CTRL C. ….technology !!

And... do you remember the first portable computers?!

I remember using a “Compaq Portable” computer that was 28 lbs and the size of a suitcase. Ever so special green and black crt monitor.

Like those first “shoulder mounted” vhs video cameras!

Been there thru all of it…

Got up behind Mt Prévost today. Met Jeremy with his 12HT 60. Darn nice truck that!! Nick was there but I only got video of his truck.

Reminds me why I hate working on our diesel.

I found this to be a bit surprising.

In a day and age that trucks are sometimes folding in the middle because the frame doesn’t stand the test of time.

I recon they don’t want the axle tube to bend. The tubing wall looks to be 1/2” thick. I may build a trailer axle from it, and I don’t think it’ll need a skid plate.

Lol, I also made the cover in 2003, thanks to Charla for both pictures ;)
