Hydro condemned one of our trees across the pond, so I'm bucking it up before the wood pirates sneak in.

Swmbo says she's bringing beer so this is a good spot to pause for a pic or two 🤣

Gonna try to rescue this thing soon.

Paint it red. Call it art.

Both my trucks in the same picture lol

Don’t paint that, it’s perfect as is for yard art!
Haha, well first I have to get it back to our side of the moat.

Suspect it's too heavy for my tractor to lift, so it might have to be lifted with a ginpole on a cruiser then lowered onto trailer.

But it's kindof in the way of a second tree, so after threatening to do something with it for 10 years maybe it'll finally happen.

Or I'll shove it back in the bushes for some future archeologist to find.😜

I could bring the 60 over to help drag it. Maybe twin lockers put a skid under it and bit of grunt it will drag a bit easier?

Nah. It needs to be lifted onto a trailer with a tractor or hoist. Dragging that 300m down the road would probably get a few complaints.

Drag marks leading into my driveway would be a bit suspicious...

So, you offering to repave my driveway while my wife feeds you stinkeye with a big wooden spoon? :flipoff2:

I'll probably have the tractor over there in the next few days. Maybe if I wind the piss out of it, it'll get that thing off the ground
Do you have Forks for the 3 pt... Mine is a lot less sketchy with stuff on the back then the front 😅

No, my weight box is such a canute to get on and off I tend to leave it there.

Gin pole on the 40 will probably do it. It has the better winch.

But, the first step is getting the tree out. By the time that's done I'm gonna be pretty sick of moving heavy s***.

Drag it om a piece of plywood. It works mint with minimal destruction on both sides of the party.

I've done that before for short trips but this is a long ways, so picking it up would be better.

Not to mention the price of plywood these days...😬

Even a crappy warn managed to move all this s***.

We'll see how I feel after dealing with the tree. Definitely won't be tomorrow .
