Great project!
Curious as to what the circular graphic on the front door says.
Ex government truck, maybe U.N.?

Thanks. Yeah it was with the Govt. before. Came as a UN Programme "UN Children's Fund" to Education ministry. They used it for a fair number of years, kept it parked for another fair number of years and eventually auctioned it out and it landed eventually with me.

A few updates. The undercoat is applied externally. Surface preparation for undercoat on the interiors is the next step, while they'll prepare exteriors for final paint. They still have to dismantle the hardtop to prepare the bed and then they will go for final paint fully.

I really feel for these guys, I have not been easy on them with my demands. Yet with limited resources and very basic tools and processes they have achieved quite a lot. Though progress has been too slow, but I feel that the build is going to last some time I.A.

Looks great. Nice job!

That barefoot guy with the wirewheel on the grinder is just begging for it to slip and run across his foot. Have similar photos of another Pakistan shop welding up my half doors barefoot with sparks flying...

Did you get to keep your original, older style license plate? Cool that you have the same number. The trucks looks great man, love the seat material.

Thanks Joel. I am using a copy of the latest format of official plates after restoration, but since this is an old vehicle registered first in Pakistan in 1999, the Govt. is yet to issue official plates for those years. So I have the liberty to use any format of plates. The number usually remains the same in Pakistan, no matter how many owners a vehicle goes by.

The seat material is PU Leather nowadays vastly used for Car upholstery

Still on the list:
1- Power Steering
2- AC
3- A set of solid steel 16” wheels with hub cap clips and BFG A/T’s if found locally.
4- Engine detailing and tuning
5- Changing the Headlight bezel color to White :)
