Front Drive Shaft (AKA CV), bent dust shield.
I asked Marietta to repack these, warning them dust shield would be bent. They were warned! and they need to learn to pack properly. I hope you all send them back, to Marietta.
A friend here on mud once sent back a set to McGeorge Toyota, with a note on packing. He was very specific on how they should repack. They did! For the next 2 years, they repacked. Which solved the issue of bent shield in shipping.
It was suggested to return to local Dealership. Interesting thought. Personal I not/don't, and would not take up my local parts guy time with another's laziness. Some parts, I've taken back due to damage, like steering rack. VIN # was required. Don't hold me to this. But it may be one warranty claim per VIN #, on "a" part.
But, yes I bend them back with body tools (Dolly and ball ping hammer). If you need to get the install done now. With care, they'll be fine. But if your don't get straightened. At best they rub, and some shop will
wrongly diagnos as wheel bearings set to tight. At worst, they may damage knuckle seal it butts to.
I've gotten damaged brake Master, Steering Racks, FDS and Radiators. Those are items I avoid having shipped by commercial carriers.
