Turns out the hammers are still available at the link posted below. I thought I'd pass this along for a 40 series collector but will keep it for firewood someday.

That is one expensive set of letters on a normal hammer. --- My humble opinion. On the other hand, I have never seen a hammer that showed those lovely blue letters either.

Just typed the part number into google... Might want to rethink your price....

I agree, the price is still super low when googling but I have never been successful buying it from any Toyota dealer in the US. I called my cocal place and they NLA in USA. Maybe the parts experts that support Mud can offer their input...

I'm open to offers, otherwise it goes in the toolbox to be destroyed with all the other hammers i seem to ruin!

They're available through the overseas parts dealers online. I'm sure that's where this one came from.

I ordered one from the link shown and they have already provided a tracking number. I'm psyched. It's like an SST but not.

That's great news. Nevermind my price then. I thought it was too much. I had tried to order from a number of places too but never any luck, always out of stock.

Brett, I remember someone was selling these around $25 on mud, he had multiple for sale and they went fast.
Not really worth the effort, after the first use, it's going to be just another hammer.
