Nothing much to report today. I had to work logistics on another project this morning but I got the donor axle all stripped out and ready to go.

Tomorrow I have to do some stuff for another project then I'll have a few hours to start opening up the old axles for the Harrop ELockers @Ozark cruiser is building for it.

This 45 was a big learning experience to get to know more about 40s in general. this truck got new front doors with almost everything new in it except vent windows frame. New body mounts. Refreshed harnesses. all electrical parts that can be found from toyota are new like brake switches, light switches, flashing relay, tail lights, fog lights, jar pump. The tank got new switchs with new hoses and seals. All oem straps except City Racer Troopy straps

A lot of oem parts.
Many City Racer orders.
And more of Amayama specific orders

When it comes to bolts, I followed the catalog as much as I can, The body got almost 80% new bolts and screws all brand new toyota; and some from City Racer too.

Engine got the following:
  • Oil pump
  • water pump
  • Radiator and all cooling parts
  • piston
  • rings
  • timing shaft
  • valves
  • oil cooler and all piping related
  • intake gaskets
  • full engine gasket
  • Oil vent valve.

Trans got
  • New gasket kit.
  • new switches.
  • new knob.
  • new Alloy body for the transfer.
Ship of Theseus much?!

Basically he’s saying it’s a totally new truck.

Ah. Nice.

Yeah there is a guy on FB that has been trying for about a year to sell his Troopy but it's ugly on stock wheels and suspension with mud flaps. I've advised him of it and it's why it's killing him but he won't listen. I know tires and suspension are expensive but he's already come down $10,000 in price with it not selling

he's been trying to sell in on Mud for a year too,

We could make that bitch look right and be gone.

Same dude ran 4Runner 20s on his pig. We ragged him for days but he loved them

You trust those HF ratchet straps more than I do.

Yep. Just commenting on the shear number of parts that had been replaced and wondering if one could still consider it the same truck after all of that. Don't know that I've seen any of your projects to that extent of restoration. Great looking rig regardless and great work as usual.

I assume this troopy won’t make its way to Jason’s anytime soon?
Nope. No need for his magic on this one.

I'll be there early tomorrow morning if you want to come say hello

For my stuff I prefer “panican” 😂
