Yes, a 7/8 drill bit works for the sensor, but you need to open the hole up just a tad more to get the sensor in because of the square clip. I just used an abrasive drum on a dremel and opened it up a bit and tested.

The instructions are solid in the manual except for disassembly which i covered. Use a 2x4 to set the fender gap and dont be afraid to reach out with questions!

You could pull your tow hooks now as well if you wanted to pre-prep.

I've got a 7/8, so that's no problem. Metric bits can be troublesome. Unless I am tapping the hole I am drilling, I will probably get the closest SAE I have to 10mm. Maybe a 3/8" would work, who knows.

10mm is just slightly more than 3/8, but since you are drilling through a hole in the plate into solid metal, its basically a template and easy to open up with a dremal.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm a cheapskate; what can I say.

"waller it out"

Archtaan,
Do you have aftermarket skids? And if so, how did they mate up with the TJM bumper?

I have factory skids, I just painted them a different color. The TJM skid and the factory skids bolt up together perfectly though. Not sure about aftermarket, however I would presume they would still mount up if the front mounting holes are in the same place which I guess they would be.

1. Yes

2. I don't think so.

Does the TJM come with fog and indicator lights included?

2nd Question: does it come winch ready or is there and non-winch option?
It comes with a winch tray that is central to mounting a winch, however if you decide you do not want a winch, there are parts you dont install and there is a cover that mounts flush where the fairlead would be.

I got mine installed today, woohoo!

Thank you @Archtaan for all of your help (I called him multiple times).

I followed your thread to the "T", except for one step; instead of opening up the frame rail holes to accept the oversized blocks, I just used an angle grinder to camfer the edges of the blocks themselves.

I still need to install/wire the turn signals, but this is how it looks now:

nice job - welcome to the club

Looks good. Don't forget to give me a heads up when you're coming to the 404.

Sure thing. I am meeting up with @Buddysuede too. Maybe we could go out for some beers or something. @Atwalz , aren't you in ATL too? I know our faithful moderator, @beno is nearby as well.

I'm in. Just let me know when and where.

Finished wiring the lighting to my TJM T13. I turned down the shutter speed so you can make out the features of the LEDs better.

The amber lenses on the TJM are illuminated, as I am making sure the turn indicators are also properly functioning.

Again, thank you @Archtaan for your help and your write-up.
