This is beautiful...somebody make it for me (60 headlights on an 80)!

I like the cladded LX squared off grill and lights but the retro flare-less 80 looks great! Not changing mine though, but I would pick one of those up for a reasonable $

Oh man, this front end with a Slee short bus bumper painted to match the grill would be borderline pornographic.

If you get a chance, can you go and see if the fenders are metal, or fiberglass/carbon?

I sure will. I won't be going anytime soon though as it's too damned hot to be walking around a car lot for any length of time. Record breaking heat and humidity going on right now in Japan. Frickin unbearable.

Hi guys,

I LOVE the wheels. So I asked 4x4labs about them, and they told me they are just 40-series steelies. Does anyone know if those will work on an 80 w/ disc brakes? If so, where do I get them, and price?

You would have to grind down on your calipers to make them fit. Plus dealing with backspacing and then tire size (you would have to run skinnies).

They are availably from your friendly local Toyota dealer. They are not cheap (think well north of $500 for just 5 rims and the probably another $150 or so for the center caps).

You can have Stockton Wheel (in CA) both widen a set of old steelies as well as increase the diameter to 16". Cost is around $150 per wheel, plus round-trip shipping.

To get a set of 5 for your 80, to include new wheels, shipping x2, widening and piant/powder-coat...with hub-caps, you are looking at about $2400.

I just threw up in my mouth a little

I've always thought a 60 front would look good on an 80........ boy was I wrong

Looks like we have a downstairs mixup here...

40 series steelies will fit on a 91-92 80 series.

Grind the hole?

I think he is talking about grinding the calipers on later (93-97) 80 series as he mentioned earlier in this thread. No grinding needed on the pic I posted.
