This is beautiful...somebody make it for me (60 headlights on an 80)!

So I would have to assume if a kit or whatever it would come with new quarter panels?

I do like the look, but really don't have any issue with stock look either.

Go to this site and scroll around for a while. Pretty cool s***.
http://www.flexnet.co.jp/search/

I saw some 80s, and when you click on one, the RH side of the page has "more like this", or at least that's what I'd make it out to say...

It's like the company uses rechromed or repainted steel wheels with basic dog dish hubcaps and always puts BFG raised white letters on pretty much everything. Seems odd, but it is Japanese.

Up on their home page http://www.flexnet.co.jp/ the top banner ad has some really weird SUV on the 6th page. Mistsubishi Delica?

I think they are cool. I am thinking some metal work vs entire new quarter panels.

Best of both worlds imo

Maybe it's possible to keep the stock corners and fenders and just retrofit the grill to match them.

That really assaulted my eyes. :ban:

Whats next, a pig front end on a 200 series lol.

Reminded me of japanese anime porn, the more you look the weirder it gets

Haha...just seeing this thread now. That tan truck was at a Flex Landcruiser specific dealership not too far from me. It's a nice truck but definitely a different direction for style and usage than usual. And no, it's not p'shopped ...haha. I stared at it for about an hour trying to figure out whether i really liked it or not. In the end i just found that style a little too "retro". Flex does a lot of this style of conversions to their stock of 70s and 80's. They tend to carry quite a few rare trucks, too. It's nice to just go and kick the tires.

Meh :meh:, I would just rather have a 60 and my 80.

Best of both worlds. One is big, boxy and sexy and the other is svelt, slim lined and sexy. ;)

Wagons FTW YO!

So a 60 series bumper fits on an 80? I like that look, wouldn't think it would bolt right up. That might take some mods as well...

there is not a 60 series bumper in any of the pix?

If you get a chance, can you go and see if the fenders are metal, or fiberglass/carbon?

The chrome, rectangular bumpers in some of the pictures are from 60/62 series, from what I can tell. Several are stock 80 series bumpers...

90% of them are from the 70 series. the 60 series are not rounded back along the body on the ends.
they also have a hole on the right side for the tow hook to peek through.
most of their 60 series are also sporting the same bumpers.
