Well, I'm not sure exactly. I was only idling for about 4-5 hrs. I can't imagine it was much. I think there is a thread about it IIRC. I've gone on trips with my 92 where I never shut it off from the time I pulled out of my driveway. Twice those trips were 3+ weeks long. A lot of idling to keep the oil and gas from freezing at -30.

If I were to guess, a gallon.

Damn, I would never let my truck idle more than 5 mins but then I live in SoCal so I don't need it to keep me from freezing to death

This was Jeff's comment to me when he saw the 55gallon drum of lube with the spigot and foot pump next to my bed. I don't think he remembers that night. Selective memory and all.

Temp gauge after idling all night. Not its permanent location but I moved it so I could see it and obsess over it easier on the trip.
