Just read thru this... Awesome job! I need to do this "top of the door panel" re-dye. I am collecting part #s for all the low pressure hoses too. Your info posted above helped. Thanks.

Time for my 5k oil change. Sending off a sample to Blackstone Labs for oil analysis. Stayed tuned for Report...

Starting a front seat refresh project. Ordered some leather crack filler from AutoLeatherRepair.com

Goes on easy. Let dry and lightly sand with at least 1200 grit sandpaper.

Sent in a sample piece of my leather seat for a custom color match. Should have my custom seat dye next week. They will save this color code for anyone that is interested in buying (you won’t have to pay a custom cover lot match fee or send in a sample). Code will be my last name COBB.

Ordered a top coat clear (matte) to add on top of dye for durability.

Ohhh. want to see finish product!

Pulled factory rear bumper cover this evening.

Mike at Bump it Off-Road is building me a new rear bumper and sliders. Hope to have them in a few weeks. Bumper is going to include 2 swing outs (ladder and adjustable tire carrier).

Mike is going to build these to accompany my 1” Body Lift. Will fit nice and tight.

Going to leave my factory hitch on for now (just in case for protection) as I may need to run a few errands around town until install.

Mike built my rear bumper and sliders. They have taken quite the beating and are solid. Great guy and great stuff he builds. Fun build thread, it kept me entertained through all 5 pages.

Got some prep work done today in preparation of my BIOR rear bumper arriving in a few weeks.

Had somelight surface rust spots I discovered when I removed the rear bumper cover. Used some Must for Rust, Steel Wool, and a small wire brush. Worked well to remove everything.

Next step will be for all exposed metal spots treated first with VHT Primer/Rust Converter in clear and then a couple light coats of Duplicolor Matte Black Caliper Paint.

Received my first oil analysis today from Blackstone Labs at 210k. Overall it was a good report. Iron, copper, and sodium were a little elevated but not enough to be concerned about at this point.

I just switched to Mobil 1 Synthetic High Milage at 205k, so this might be the reason for a little elevated sodium level. Went back to standard Mobil 1 Synthetic oil with this oil change and will probably stick with it for all future oil changes. Will do another Blackstone Labs report at 215k oil change for comparison.

back on BIOR. Mike has been a great guy to work with on my order. Just got word from Mike that my order is shipping out this week. Can't wait to get these upgrades on my cruiser.

Took a look at your custom grills. Wow! Putting one of these on my list for future upgrades. Great craftsmanship.

Yes! Just ordered some tan ones off Amazon. Thanks
Hi I have been looking forever for a bigger place to put my cell The plastic one beside the shifter is too small Where did you pick this up? Thanks

Daddy Rabbit-I got this one on Amazon. Just put the part number in on the search menu (part number is on picture in my build thread). You can also find it probably cheaper on EBay and other Toyota online parts dealers.

Appreciate it!

Bumper prep is all done for new BIOR rear bumper! Should have it sometime next week.

Removed any light surface rust, primed with VHT, and 2 coats of Duplicolor Caliper Paint Flat Black. In my experience I have found the caliper paint holds up way better than your standard spray paint so that is what I use.

Well done .. Looks brand new !

My PFran LED Interior Bulb kit arrived today. I upgraded my reverse bulbs to PFran LED’s earlier this year and was very impressed with the upgrade.

WOW! Loving these new LED interior bulbs. It makes a huge difference.

After seeing this I’m pretty sure my door lights don’t work because I had no idea I even had them.

Phase 2 of The Texas Land Crusher Build is complete!

My order from Bump it Off-road arrived a couple weeks ago. Mike did a stellar job with my custom step sliders and rear bumper. It was built to accommodate my 1” Body Lift. Added an adjustable tire carrier and ladder to bumper. Also ordered a front diff drop and front skid plate from BIOR.

Many thanks to Duc Nguyen at Duggy’s Garage in Houston for a great install. Had Duc upgrade my rear OME 2860 springs to OME 2863 springs to accommodate for the extra weight with this new bumper.
