Can you enlighten me on the 2001,

Versus the 2000 or the 2002...

True , two 01's actually (01LC 170K & 01LX 215K) plus a 98LX 300K and just sold a 00LX 270K.
You'll see just a few change in 01 from 00. 01 & 02 are the same: Slee Off-Road 100 Series Newbie Guide They have a pretty good break down (not 100%) of the year by year changes.

If I listed year by year issues I've seen and read about, it would open Let just say "I "do find the 01 00-02 to be the most reliable, and least $ to maintain.

Just really curious why the 01-02 would be any better than the 2000 as the largest difference seems to be child seat tethers in the second row, one touch on all four windows, and the DVD Nav systems.

@2001LC PM if you like as I am truly wanting to know. I worked for a dealer for 15 years and I know there are more changes if you can get access to the technical data they would send to the service department to educate the technicians and service staff in general regarding changes.

No, they (00) are the same, just the minor stuff Slee list to my knowledge, some of which I prefer. I had typo in above I edited to read 00-02.

Spent some time in moab a few weeks ago, I really love this area! Took the hundo through Fins n Things, Hell's Revenge, Steel Bender, Poison Spider, half of Giyser pass in the snow and multiple dirt roads exploring





This was much worse then it looks, it was only wide enough to drive through in one area. If you know the area it's way down kane Creek.
