Went to bleed the brakes and the front bleeders are all jammed up which made me finally pull the front wheels off and take a peek.

As much as I wanted to ignore the front axle, the least it's going to get is calipers and pads.

Got the hose from Beno installed. Was about to fill the cooolant and check for leaks when a buddy pulled up and wanted to check out a 70 that I imported but have not done anything with yet.

So it pivoted and showed him the truck. He drove it. Fell in love so I lost a few hours messing with him and it. Took it to town for fuel and a wash. It's fast AF. I let off at 170 and it had more. Don't trust the tires for more.

One more day on KY tomorrow and I'm off to the desert for a week.

Very happy round 1 of the wiring.

I've got brakes. Running lights. Rear blinkers. Front right blinkers.

Brights.

Wipers.

Need to sort out front left flasher/direction and the left rear fender light.

5 hours in wiring. I honestly expected 3 days. Turns out this guy just added all of his hacks outside the factory harness.

Added a Coolman Fusable link. These trucks did not come with one. The large white/blue goes to the starter and not the battery.

New fender bars to replace the boat parts

Question?

This Yellow/Black. I think this is the correct wire for oil pressure but it's on the drivers side. That is probably right though since a 1970 F motor would have the oil pressure sensor on the drivers side versus at the oil filter.

Anyone confirm this?

Ok. Wrapping up all that I can do at this point.

My suspension shipped Thursday.

JimC has my carb for a dyno tune

Need to buy some calipers/pads

Need to decide which style air cleaner to use once it's all together

Couple of things I may have already posted.

I ended up putting this nice floor cover back in but now you can take it in and out to clean

Added the coolant and got no leaks

This one is coming together nicely.

That wire is correct for my 69 F oil pressure wire. Same location as well

Thought so. Thanks.

So glad I did not have to replace this wiring harness.

Last piece of the puzzle will be here soon.

Tomorrow I'm going pick up the pallet that landed while I was away.

I know you’re a fan of the Dobs shocks/springs. Looking forward to your review of the TT hitched to the KY.

I'm pretty happy with them on the 45.

I'm looking forward to it myself.

I really want to try these springs but my concern is not enough lift for my liking with my weight up front and back. I think TT has an extra leaf that can be added to the back but I could be wrong.

Looking forward to how KY turns out.

So far, ones I have are sitting a tall 2”. Still haven’t fully broken in, but they’re at more like 2.5 front 3” rear for me with stock shackles on an 82.

@Ratboy from Classic Cruisers sold me some parts to get the bumper on properly.

This looks a million times better than what was on it

Got some new gaskets from City Racer for the top and windshield

I had a couple of big boys come by and help me get the top on.
