That's easy to believe with students like JP going to Clemson. :D

get your jabs in while you can....... less then two weeks until graduation

Well I guess that narrows the choices for picking the actual day hell will freeze over... :flipoff2:

All in good fun man, kudos for getting it done!!!

Now come join the working world and realize how good you've had it as a college student...

Thanks for thinking of me Richard... it's touching. Gonna be tough to be humble this year, but I'll do my best cause I know the pain you are about to go through... another season of false expectation. :D

Did see a nice article this week in the Canaan Valley WV newspaper where I was vacationing talking about the ACC, and the complete failure of the league in the post season since expansion. It did mention the total SEC domination. Seems the rest of the country knows how it all works.

Since when is WV "the rest of the country"???

UNC won't even make the title game and I'd bet something I actually own on that.

Same bet as usual for the greatest rivalry in all of college football David.

We should come up with a bet for that NC St game. O'Brian will bring a far more disciplined, intelligent, and physical team to the field, they just don't have much talent.

It's on like Donkey Kong! I really look forward to our annual bet.
NC ST bet...hmmmm...let me think of a creative wager. Maybe something
tied to the difference between CU and USC vs NC St scores. That way the suspense
hangs on for a longer time. ;)

Andy - I hate to say anything that you can agree with on here but in this case its painfully obvious how much better WF is than USC but thats not really saying much cause it is USC.

David it would be in your best interest to not worry about the score and just worry about if USC can even win. Clemson put 42 on them last yr USC didnt score 42 all last season.

So how about a buck a point for the difference total? NC St beats USC by 50 and CU wins by 50
and you are $100 richer. :grinpimp:
What was the WF score last year and what was the USC score? That ought to give a pretty good comparison
vs a common (pun intended) opponent.

I'll take that bet David $1 a point, we win by 50 you win by 25 you get the pleasure of saying you are better than NC St and I was wrong and I get $25 that still sounds pretty good to me.

Not really a good comparison 1 was at home one was on the rd.

Or...another good comparison from last year would be USC getting beat by Vandy at home (while scoring 6 whole points) and Wake thumping Vandy on the road...

OUCH! I just hope LOWF has a good run and somehow po ol USC gets 'em in a bowl. ;)

Stick to basketball Marshall cause you obviously don't know anything about football.

Wait what? I thought the whole point of this thread was to talk about how great our teams are and how many teams they are going to beat and how great prospects they have, only to flounder late in the season. I'm only try to keep pace with ya. :flipoff2:

Getting Close!!!!

With the season openers 3 short weeks away, it is time to get this thread going again.

I'll start off with a little humor (not sure if Deunta does stand up for corporate outings yet or not):

Heel predicts ACC crown

"We'll win the ACC this year," says North Carolina safety Deunta Williams.

Heel predicts ACC crown - Roanoke.com

Sounds like Deunta should go back and watch the tape of the Wake game...

That's UGA #1, and, so far at least, we have enough players out of jail to field a team!

That's not a chess club in Athens...

b/t/w, the SEC picked Fla to win the SEC East... we are picked second in our half of the division, and first in the country. Think they love Tebow or what?

Yeah, I guess I'd rather see U Got Arrested in the #1 spot ahead of anyone else in the top 5.

The Tebow love fest was over the top last season, I can't take much more...
