I wouldn't get too cocky Clemson fans. Beating auburn this yearis not exactly a huge feat without Superman taking the snaps. Watching Boyd struggle under pressure and not seeing his progression will not likely just magically go away when you play again. Auburn struggled on d just as they did las season.

Body struggled under pressure??? What game were you watching, our first two series were a little shaky but after that it was on:flipoff2:

I thought it was funny that at the end of the game Spurrier has no faith in Garcia...he said that he told garcia to just keep giving it to lattimore.....he must not of fully recovered from his hangover from last night....either that or he didn't want to injure his drinking arm for tonight.

This is typical tater trash talk.
Good luck till late November.
:hillbilly:

Yeah just like Carolina is this year. If you think Boyd struggled under pressure, or isn't worlds apart from Garcia being his first year vs. Garcia's 9th, you are crazy. Garcia sucks, every Gamecock fan knows it but you.

Lattimore gets injured, and you will struggle to have a winning season.

did anyone else notice that Clemson put up 624 yards on the defending national champs today?? And that would make us 3-0 against defending national champs at death valley!!!

oh yeah nice win game cocks

Putting up those numbers is like saying you are the fastest shetland pony at the Kentucky Derby... http://statistics.ncaafootball.com/...otball&page=cfoot/stat/ncaa-team-totaldef.htm Note the number 117 on that list right with Northern Illinois and UAB. That is right above some good Fl and Tx high schools.... I'm just sayin

Boyd likes to force passes when better more open receivers are further down his progression. Auburn is undisciplined and lacks the talent to play man on man coverage and the discipline level leaves too many bubbles which was great for Boyd.

Is it something in the water at CU?
geesh...all you guys seem to know is name calling.
Try to use some facts when you foam at the mouth about
USC next time. Just because CU fans dream it doesn't make it true.
Good luck to CU.
The team is going to need it with the delusional fan base booing and raving
as the mood strikes them. Great fan base.

It was good seeing Clemson beat a talented team. I was rooting for you to lose the whole game.

Cocks just squeezed it out.

Shall be an interesting year. Go heels!

And congrats on the ACC being a basketball super conference. I feel sorry for all those colleges in the ACC that have sucky bb teams.

Well those that think Carolina is talented are delusional.....I mean Navy almost whipped there ass and Carolina is ranked 10th.....that is what is delusional, if spurriur wasn't the coach they wouldn't even be in the top 20.....maybe Clemson should recruit a drunk to lead the team.

that being said both carolina and clemson need to practice up there defence before next week. Vandy is one of those teams who seems to always have a horshoe stuck up there a@# and fsu might have fallen to osu but they put up a dang good fight.

I'm not a huge fan of Garcia. He makes too many mistakes that a 5th year senior should not be making. The crowd applauds everytime he throws the ball away to prevent a sack/interception.

S.Car is no doubt a patch work team.

Having a RB to ride on thru the season is not exatly a new thing or a bad thing. You were not complaining when Clemson was riding on Spiller. Not sure why you have the complaints about lattimore being the work horse for S.Car and the reason we win games. If i'm a coach in todays NCAA i want a good run game. Keep your D on teh bench resting and eat up the clock to limit time the other O is on the field. It's a no brainer.

Id rather have a great running attack and a so so throwing game than the other way around.

To say S.car has no talent you gotta be on drugs...or drowning in orange kool aid.

Clowney and Ingram are probably the two best D linemen in the country. Jeffery and Lattimore are both one of the best recievers/back in the country.

Patchwork yes.....but so long as the rest of the team gives them opprotunity to shine we will continue to win games.

I think tonight was the first time I saw lattimore break a sweat. At his age and level of conditioning he is good for 50 carries a game. Don't start me on Garcia's lack of decision making.

Please hand it to him 50 times a game, by the time you get to us he will be so dog tired and beat up he won't get past the line of scrimmage. Running backs cant take that kind of punishment especially not in the SEC with all its speed and NFL players. :flipoff2:

I know Garcia and Lattimore won't put 624 yds. on Auburn.

Jeremy

Um, they just might, did you actually watch that game? When you give up big plays like Auburn did you get the yards tacked up against you. Hell Vandy might tack up 600+ yards against Auburn. If you can play backyard ball (which apparently CU can) you can stump Auburn's defense, they can't protect the pass, they aren't great at protecting the run unless you accidentally run into them.

Congrats to the ACC for whipping up on the other conferences this weekend FSU put up a damn good fight in a losing effort even. Also added some more elite bball talent to the conference and gave Clemson, FSU, and VT someone else to kick the crap out of regularly in football.

Also congrats to Navy making white guys relevant in football since integration.

Congrats to the Tigers. #21 in the AP Poll!

Hey don't forget UNC. We got 2 whole votes. We're coming baby.

Oh and USA today has us ranked 25th. Only 3 behind Clemson.

This weekend is going to be a big one for both ACC teams. We have GT and Cu has FSU. Going to be very interesting.

I wonder if the ACC will add anyone else?

i'm glad i'm not the only one that saw all the blown coverages and missed assignments in the backfield of Auburns D.

Apparantly Jay and i wacthed an entirely different game than you other guys did.

Boyd does well playing pitch and catch.

As much as i think he sucks Garcia is no better.

I hope Shaw is spending plenty of time in the film room studying progressions, routes and hopefully can warm the bench behind a highly recruited freshman QB next year.

The guy works out/conditions like an NFL athelete. I'm sure he'll have no problem with that.

Granted he is going to take a beating but he's also giving a beating. Not sure many secondaries like hitting this guy head on.

If that fantasy helps the Tigers sleep easy....good for ya!
