I like this idea as the 80 has a pretty long wheel base. I have looked at the frame and there doesn't seem to be a good place to do this as it looks like / \ in the middle. Then there are the link mounts to deal with. Anyone have any how to go about doing this?

there was a guy who shrunk an 80 to fit a 40 body. Now that is way more than 12". They basically cut it at the ends of the /\ section and then shortened and re-angled them to fit back in.

Quote of the week Jay!

I did a sales pitch to a huge bar last week. I calculated I could save them around $70-85k per year. My weekly fee out of that totaled $16k. He told me it wasn't worth it to "just save $60k."

I was stumped on how to argue with someone who didn't care about $60k. They never taught me that one during training.

Where the hell were you? Jersey? Hanging with Tony at Bada Bings?

Not Jersey...Bridgewater, MA...close enough.

On that topic, the Foxy Lady in Brockton is in my territory and is on my list of places to cold call, often.

Was it your sons cruiser with the bent axle housing?
And if I remember correctly your truck is at the end of the driveway?

no, it was a guy who bought the truck out of Tx and had it shipped here.

besides the housing both front calipers were frozen and some knuckle head separated the drive shafts and reinstalled them clocked 1 tooth off.

I won't name the outfit but they are very well known but much bigger in the 40s.
